Tributes began to pour in Monday following the news that beloved singer and actress Olivia Newton-John had passed away at 73.
Olivia Newton-John was first diagnosed with the disease in 1992 and then again in 2013. The first time it was breast cancer and the second time it was shoulder cancer, then it turned out that she had cancer a third time with a metastasized breast tumor, “I’m very lucky to have gone through this three times and still be here,” she said as she addressed the situation.
According to her husband, Newton-John, who fought a decades-long battle with breast cancer, died Monday morning at her ranch in Southern California.
Actor John Travolta, who co-starred with Olivia Newton-John in the hit movie musical “Grease,” has posted a statement in tribute to the late singer.
“My dearest Olivia, you made all of our lives so much better,” the actor wrote on Instagram. “Your impact was incredible. I love you so much.”
In his tribute, Travolta added, “We will see you down the road and we will all be together again.”
He signed it: “Yours from the moment I saw you and forever! Your Danny, your John.”
